An Idea is Born
Owner Meleka R. Simon has dreamed of owning her own studio since the age of 18. After years of training and teaching for several studios, it was time to make this dream a reality.
Our Inspiration
Odessa Fortenberry Lewis is the mother of Meleka R. Simon. On June 2, 2016 Mother Lewis transitioned to her heavenly home. Her legacy inspired Ms. Meleka to follow her dreams. Mother Lewis desired for Destiny Devoted Dance to become a reality. She encouraged Ms. Meleka to never give up and to use her passions for Christ, children, dance, diversity and community to impact lives & inspire change.
